Yep, it’s been five whole years since we burst onto the stage as fresh-faced forty-somethings. Since then, we’ve managed to survive a global plague, Brexit, industry apathy, the cultural vandalism perpetrated by our piss-poor government, and our own irresponsibility. We think that calls for a CELEBRATION! And we’d like to celebrate with YOU! Specifically, at a GIG! At the BRICKMAKERS! On the 15th DECEMBER! So, IT’S GOING TO BE CHRISTMAS AS FUCKING WELL!

Special thanks to the wonderful Brenda Binns for musical accompaniment and also to Leslie McCabe for BSL Interpretation.
As always, we are supporting The People's Picnic. These guys work tirelessly all year to provide the city's homeless with a hot meal, warm clothes, sleeping bags and more. It's going to be a cold winter, and we want to help so we will be accepting donations today. If you can, please bring along:
Blankets, Hats, Gloves and scarves, Unwanted Coats/Jackets, Unwanted sleeping bags, Non Perishable food, Dog food.
We will deliver all donations to the PP and they will ensure they will be passed on to those in need on our streets this winter. Thank you so much!
Merry Christmas to you all xxx
We have been writing a regular blog for a couple of years now and it is being enjoyed by many over a cuppa and a custard cream. Charley writes of life running a pub and a music venue and how the two cross over. Read about the fun and excitement of pub life and also the toils and troubles when things don't always go to quite to plan.
Go and join over 300 regular readers and get a small 'behind the scenes' insight into the workings of 'The Brickies'.
